Wix Enter is back for its 5th cycle! This 8–10 week program

What is an xEngineer?
The xEngineer represents Wix’s vision for the future of development. As AI writes more and more code, the focus of our engineering fundamentals is shifting to areas requiring human judgment, creativity, systems and software design. This is more than adopting new tools - it’s a mindset shift.
The xEngineer model enables fewer handoffs, clearer ownership, and more autonomous teams - all while preserving deep expertise, collaboration, and high engineering standards.
Design-First: Understanding the “what” and “why” before the “how”.

End-to-End Ownership: Taking responsibility for complete systems from design to production, and owning the outcomes.

AI-Native: AI is an integral part of every workflow, not just an assistant.

Critical Thinking: Questioning AI outputs and understanding the underlying behavior of the code.

“Joining Enter was one of the best decisions I made – both as a student and at the start of my career. It gave me the chance to learn, grow and actually apply what I studied in class to real, hands-on work. It’s truly the best way to learn – by doing”

Your questions answered
( 1 )
Is this an internship or a student position?
This is a paid student job with unique acceleration training before you start working. You’ll be placed quickly on one of our development teams to start working on real Wix Engineering projects, reaching millions of people. You’ll work super fast, continuously pushing your code to production.
( 2 )
Who can apply?
If you’re a computer science or software engineering student with at least 1.5 more years of studies, you’re more than welcome to apply to our program. We care about your coding skills and your ability to learn fast and independently, not where you studied.
( 3 )
What is the recruitment and program timeline?
-
The application window is from May 10-11.
-
Exams and interviews will take place from June 4 - July 1.
-
We’ll announce accepted applicants shortly thereafter by early July.
-
The program will begin on August 9th and will last for 8-10 weeks. After training, you’ll begin coding for millions of users as a Student Engineer until you complete your studies!
( 4 )
What happens if I have an exam on certain days?
It’s best if you don’t have exams during the training, due to the fast-paced nature of the program, however, if you do we’ll try our best to find a solution. After the first four weeks, we’ll be more flexible for exams and make every effort to accommodate your situation as much as possible.
( 5 )
When and where will the Wix Enter course take place?
Wix Enter will be held at the Wix Campus in Glilot, five days a week.
( 6 )
I applied for a student position in the past and was rejected, can I try again?
If you are a computer science or software engineering student with more than 1.5 years left of your studies, you’re welcome to apply again. That being said, if you were in a process very recently and did not pass, then it might be too soon to show progress in your coding skills.
( 7 )
What happens after I graduate?
Once you graduate, you may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position – in either our Tel Aviv or Be’er Sheva office. We’ll evaluate your progress, and if it’s a good fit for both you and the team, you’ll continue growing with us!
( 8 )
What can I do to improve my chances of getting in?
It's important to answer all the questions in the screening process thoroughly, as this is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself beyond what's on your CV. Once you've passed this stage, carefully review the timeline and make sure to attend the opening event. Additionally, pay attention to any instructions provided on how to prepare for the exam, which will be sent to you along with the invitation to the opening event.
( 9 )
I see other student positions at Wix. What’s the difference between them and this program?
The main difference is that Wix Enter is a dedicated training program that will take place in August-October, followed by group onboarding sessions and on-the-job training on one of our product development teams. In other student positions, you can start whenever the job opening is available and work directly with the Product Development team. We recommend that you choose the path that works best for you (there’s no need to apply for both).
( 10 )
Can I apply to more than one student program?
Each program is different and caters to different skillsets, experience and unique paths. Because of this, you cannot apply to more than one student program. We recommend taking a moment to think about your skills, interests and where you see yourself growing before choosing the program that suits you best.
( 11 )
What if I am on reserve duty?
We understand this is a really challenging time and we want to do our best to accommodate you. If you are in reserves during the application window period, you can still apply to the program using this link and uploading official documentation of your service (אישור מילואים) until May 27, 2026.
If you are in reserves at a later stage in the process, and cannot attend the exam or interviews at their scheduled dates, we will do our best to come up with a solution together on a case-by-case basis.

In memory of Eytam Magini
Eytam grew up in Kfar-Saba. He served in the IDF as part of the Navy (Shayetet 7) and started studying for a triple major in psychology, neuroscience, and computer science at Tel-Aviv University. During his studies, Eytam joined Wix Enter and then became a Frontend Developer for our Media team.
Tragically, his time with us was cut short. Eytam was murdered in a violent terror attack in the heart of Tel Aviv on April 7, 2022.
His manager, Oded Nachshon, and his teammates describe Eytam as an incredible person. He was quiet, charismatic, and a true team player. They say he was the salt of the earth, a great friend with a kind soul.
The Wix Enter program is dedicated to Eytam in his honor.
